Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 7 download WARNING after year of bans, blocks and arrests

GAME OF THRONES will get its big finale this weekend as episode 7 is broadcast tonight. Millions are expected to attempt to watch illegally but after a year of blocks, bans and even arrests, fans are being warned to tune in through official channels.

It’s been another huge year for Games of Thrones as season 7 has once again made history.
The HBO thriller continues to be one of the most watched shows on TV with millions of fans tuning in every Sunday night.
However, it’s also become one of the most illegally download shows ever.
Across the globe fans have snubbed official subscription services with many heading online in the hope of finding illegal, and free, streams and torrents.
In fact, a recent survey by Finder.com revealed that more than 3.7 million Britons admitted that they planned to watch the show illegally online.
With the growth of the Kodi TV player, many homes have ditched their subscriptions to services, such as Sky, and instead stream TV and sports over the web illegally.
Kodi is not illegal but it does allow users to install add-ons which allow illegal streams.
This growth in non-legal content hasn’t gone unnoticed with Game of Thrones makers HBO recently warning fans about watching the show without a subscription.
In an email seen by TorrentFreak, HBO states: “We have information leading us to believe that the IP address xx.xxx.xxx.xx was used to download or share Game of Thrones without authorization,
“HBO owns the copyright or exclusive rights to Game of Thrones, and the unauthorized download or distribution constitutes copyright infringement. Downloading unauthorized or unknown content is also a security risk for computers, devices, and networks.”
To prove how seriously the networks and broadcasters are taking this problem a number of arrests were recently made after an Episode of the Games of Thrones were leaked online.
The four people from were taken into custody earlier this month with police saying they are accused of criminal breach of trust and computer-related offences.
Speaking to the AFP news agency Deputy Commissioner of Police Akbar Pathan said: "We investigated the case and have arrested four individuals for unauthorised publication of the fourth episode from season seven.”
Although these arrests were made in India, UK users are also being warned of the dangers of downloading shows illegally.
Kieron Sharp, the chief executive of the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT), said those who use illegal Kodi add-ons “are committing criminal offences”.
“What we’ve been looking at in conjunction with many of our clients and members are the different levels of crime being committed.” He said.
“There’s the manufacture and importation of devices, and then the distribution and selling of those. We’re also looking at the people who are providing the apps and add-ons, the developers.
“And then we’ll also be looking at, at some point, the end user. The reason for end users to come into this is that they are committing criminal offences.”
"I can see quite an escalation and a response from government that's going to compliment the measures that a lot of people across the industry are doing.
"There's a lot happening and the landscape will look quite a bit different over the next 12 months."

Along with the fact that it’s illegal, there are a number of other consequences to watching Game Of Thrones for free online.
Cybersecurity firm Siege says there are “very real technical concerns” about downloading content – like Game Of Thrones – via torrents.
Siege CEO Jason Syversen told Consumer Reports, “There are some very real technical concerns.
“You’re dealing with these shady third-party sites, so it’s a great opportunity for people to insert malware into the BitTorrent client as well as transferring files with malicious content.”
Just last year,  following the season 6 premiere, ransomware was introduced on The Pirate Bay to coincide with the influx of users looking to download Game Of Thrones episodes.
A fraudulent advertiser on The Pirate Bay used a pop-under advertisement to quietly redirect users and infect them with Cerber ransomware.
Security firm Malwarebytes discovered the threat, which used a victim’s vulnerable browser plugins to silently download a malicious payload to a system.
Don’t forget, if you want to watch the entire first series for free you can tune in legally.
